SOUTH TEXAS TRUMPET WORKSHOP

REGISTER NOW FOR THE 2020 WORKSHOP!
May 16, 2020

The mission of the South Texas Trumpet Workshop is to bring in top trumpeters from around the country to give an intensive day of trumpet insight, coaching, learning, and performing. Through this collaboration, educational and artistic growth is heightened and future generations of musicians will be inspired to greater achievements.
It is open to trumpeters of all ages. Cost is $20 for the day and can be paid by cash, check, or card at the time of the workshop. Sessions vary each year based on the expertise of the guest artist(s) and can range from audition preparation, jazz improvisation, orchestral performance, composition, and competitions.

The South Texas Trumpet Workshop is hosted each year by the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Trumpet Guild.

Registration is available through this site prior to the event and is preferred. On-site registration is available and will begin at 8:30 a.m.

For more information about the workshop, contact the workshop coordinator,
Dr. Kyle Millsap.

This event made possible in part by a grant from the International Trumpet Guild

We will have a display from Pickett/Blackburn with mouthpieces to try out and purchase. Eric Murine will also be giving a keynote on mouthpiece manufacturing.

There will be a raffle throughout the day with great prizes available to win, including etude and method books, mutes, CDs, and more from our great sponsors and vendors.

Trumpets will be available to tryout courtesy B&S Trumpets and South Texas Music Mart.
A big thank you to our fantastic sponsors and vendors this year!
